It is extremely important to us that each stone statue arrives whole and undamaged. We take utmost care in shipping and packing each item.
Our stone statues are packed in firm foam boxes for air shipment (small sizes, under 50kgs) and in strong seaworthy wooden crates (over 50kgs) for sea shipment to prevent damage during transportation.
For items of small sizes and under 50kgs (or 110 pounds), air shipment is the best in terms of time as well as economy.
For items of bigger sizes and over 50kgs (or 110 pounds), sea shipment is most recommended in term of cost. Port to port shipping costs are often much cheaper than trucking costs even within the same country.
If you are an international customer, please email info@danangsculpture.org, or call ++84-236-3968120, including the code number of the statue you are interested in purchasing and specific destination to receive a shipping quote.
Please note that Danang Sculpture Foundation is not responsible for any customs, tax, and duties (if any) charged by the import department of your country. Please check with your government to determine the duties or taxes importing a statue into your country as they vary country to country.

The sculpture depicts the third Station among a complete set of 14 Stations of the Cross to commemorate Jesus Christ's last day on Earth as a man.
Stations of the Cross or the Way of the Cross, also known as Way of Sorrows or Via Crucis, refers to a series of images or sculptures depicting Jesus Christ on the day of his crucifixion and accompanying prayers. The stations grew out of imitations of Via Dolorosa in Jerusalem which is believed to be the actual path Jesus walked to Mount Calvary. The object of the stations is to help the Christian faithful to make a spiritual pilgrimage through contemplation of the Passion of Christ.
The standard set from the 17th to 20th centuries has consisted of 14 pictures or sculptures depicting the following scenes:
1. Pilate condemns Jesus to die
2. Jesus accepts his cross
3. Jesus falls for the first time
4. Jesus meets his mother, Mary
5. Simon helps carry the cross
6. Veronica wipes the face of Jesus
7. Jesus falls for the second time
|
8. Jesus meets the three women of Jerusalem
9. Jesus falls for the third time
10. Jesus is stripped of his clothes
11. Jesus is nailed to the cross
12. Jesus dies on the cross
13. Jesus is taken down from the cross
14. Jesus is placed in the tomb

In 2007, Pope Benedict XVI approved an overlapping but distinct set of stations for meditation and public celebration; they follow this sequence:Although not traditionally part of the Stations, the Resurrection of Jesus is, in very rare instances, included as a fifteenth station.
1. Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane;
2. Jesus is betrayed by Judas and arrested;
3. Jesus is condemned by the Sanhedrin;
4. Jesus is denied by Peter;
5. Jesus is judged by Pilate;
6. Jesus is scourged and crowned with thorns;
7. Jesus takes up his cross;
|
8. Jesus is helped by Simon of Cyrene to carry his cross;
9. Jesus meets the women of Jerusalem;
10. Jesus is crucified;
