Packing

It is extremely important to Danang Sculpture Foundation that each stone statue and stone product arrives whole and undamaged. We take utmost care in shipping and packing each item.

Our stone statues are packed in firm foam boxes for air shipment (small sizes, under 50kgs) and in strong seaworthy wooden crates (bigger sizes) for sea shipment to prevent damage during transportation.

For all our heavy large statues or stone products, we build a custom wooden crate to fit individual item dimensions so that it is packed safely for the journey.  A pallet at the bottom of the crate helps it be easily handled by a forklift or crane during the shipping process.  Wooden braces are used inside the crate to make sure that the item does not shift during its journey.

All wooden crates are fumigated before shipment. A Certificate of Fumigation is provided together with other shipment documents for your custom clearance procedures.

Shipment

If you are an international customer, please email info@danangsculpture.org, or call ++84-236-3968120, including the code number of the statue or stone product you are interested in purchasing and specific destination to receive a shipping quote.

Please note that Danang Sculpture Foundation is not responsible for any customs, tax, and duties (if any) charged by the import department of your country. Please check with your government to determine the duties or taxes importing a statue or stone product into your country as they vary country to country.

For items of small sizes and under 50kgs (or 110 pounds), air shipment is the best in terms of both time and cost.

For items of bigger sizes and over 50kgs (or 110 pounds), sea shipment is most recommended in term of cost. Port to port shipping costs are often much cheaper than trucking costs even within the same country. Please contact us regarding rates to a specific port of your country.

Air shipment

For items of small sizes and under 50kgs (or 110 pounds), air shipment is the best in terms of time as well as economy.

Transit time: (except for weekends and holidays)

- Express air shipment: 5 – 8 days from Danang to capitals or big cities in the world and 7- 10 days from Danang to further regions depending on countries

- Normal air shipment: 20 – 30 days from Danang to capitals or big cities in the world and 30 - 40 days from Danang to further regions depending on countries

Sea shipment

Danang Sculpture Foundation can arrange shipment from Danang to any port all over the world. For items of big sizes and over 50kgs (or 110 pounds), sea shipment is most recommended in term of cost. Port to port shipping costs are often much cheaper than trucking costs even within the same country. Please contact Danang Sculpture Foundation regarding rates to a specific port of your country.

Depending on where the shipment is sent to the minimum charge may allow up to 300kgs (or 661 pounds) to be put onto a wooden crate without the price increasing. So please do consider to order more items from us to save costs for shipping.
